The Euroasia Youth Music Festival, established in 2022, is a welcoming and accessible performance platform aimed at celebrating the achievements of music students at all stages of their development. In its inaugural edition, the festival attracted over 500 participants from across the ASEAN region.

The festival embraces a diverse group of participants from all nationalities and features three distinct divisions: Piano, Strings, and Guitar (introduced in 2026).

Piano and Strings Division

This division categorizes participants by grade level, providing a supportive environment for music students of varying experience levels. Participation has continued to flourish, with over 2,700 participants in 2025, including students from Brunei, China, Indonesia, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand.

The Piano and Strings Division includes two categories: Solo Category and Duet Category.

All categories from the piano and strings division have two rounds: Preliminary and Final Round. For the Preliminary Round, participants can choose to perform live, at any one of the local or international regional rounds, or to submit a video recording for online assessment.

The Solo Category is designed to recognize musical achievements across all levels, welcoming non-professional performers of all ages. Conversely, the Duet and Ensemble Categories focus on nurturing the artistic development of young musicians, allowing them to enhance their chamber music skills through collaboration with peers.

All Guitar Division categories are offered exclusively at the regional level as an independent event, with no advancement to the finals.
