Piano Four Hands and Bowed String Duets/Duos
The Duet Category explores a wide range of musical genres and styles, and provides participants with the chance to showcase their ability to synergize and collaborate as a pair.
Divisions and Age Groups
The age groups determine the entry division with the participant’s age determined by the year of birth, regardless of month.
- Junior Division: Sum of age 24 and below.
- Open Division: No age limit.
Performance Requirements
- A balanced programme consisting of at least two contrasting works, not exceeding 5 minutes (Junior Division) and 8 minutes (Open Division).
- Piano accompaniment is not allowed in the Bowed Strings Duet Category.

FINAL ROUND
An administration fee applies to registrations for the Final Round. The Final Round fees listed above are exclusively for participants from the Malaysian live regional preliminary rounds. For participants from international preliminary rounds, please consult your country representative for the applicable fees.
*Local taxes may apply for participants outside of Malaysia.

Live Preliminary Round and Final Round fees are inclusive of ONE (1) audience entry pass for Solo Categories, and TWO (2) audience entry passes for the Duo Categories.
