Solo Performance*
Performance Requirements
The Solo Performance Category is open to participants of all ages – there is no lower or upper age limit.
- Initial – Grade 8 Divisions: ONE piece (only) from the ABRSM or Trinity College London Syllabus.
- Diploma Division: A balanced programme including at least two contrasting works from two different composers, not exceeding 15 minutes.

Piano Four Hands and String Duets/Duos**
Divisions and Age Groups
- Elementary Division (Approximate level indication: Beginners to Grade 2/3)
Limited to participants ages 12 and below, born in or after 2012. - Intermediate Division (Approximate level indication: Grades 4,5,6)
Limited to participants ages 18 and below, born in or after 2006. - Advanced Division (Approximate level indication: Grades 7 and above)
Limited to participants ages 28 and below, born in or after 1996.
*The participant’s age is determined by the year of birth, regardless of month.
Performance Requirements
- A balanced programme consisting of at least two contrasting works, not exceeding 5 minutes (Elementary); 8 minutes (Intermediate); and 10 minutes (Advanced).
** NOTE: Piano accompaniment is not allowed in the Strings Duet Category.

FINAL ROUND
Registration fee is applicable for participating in the Final Round.

Live Preliminary Round and Final Round fees are inclusive of ONE (1) audience entry pass for Solo Categories, and TWO (2) audience entry passes for the Duo Categories.
