The Duet Category explores a wide range of musical genres and styles, from classical to contemporary, and provides participants with the chance to showcase their musicianship.
Divisions and Age Groups*
- Junior Division
Sum of ages 24 and below. - Open Division
No age limit.
*The participant’s age is determined by their year of birth, regardless of month.
Performance Requirements
- A balanced programme consisting of at least two contrasting works, not exceeding 5 minutes (Junior Division) and 8 minutes (Open Division).
NOTE: Piano accompaniment is not allowed in the Guitar Duet Category.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Please note that the Guitar Division is open ONLY for the Live Preliminary Round.
- Performances exceeding the stipulated time limit may be disqualified.
- Live Preliminary Round entry fees are inclusive of ONE audience entry pass for the Solo Categories and TWO audience passes for the Ensemble and Duet Category.
